Treadmill Review

Missing your old days when you used to get fit in your old jeans? As a form of cardio exercise, using a treadmill is a great way to burn calories and lose weight. ProForm is a world leader in home fitness equipment. The brand is known for bringing bespoke solutions to fitness enthusiasts around the world.

With the Proform 8.0 ZT treadmills, the company has a nice package this time around. The striking display, attractive console, and chrome speaker are not the only features that distinguish this product. It’s one of the best buy designs we’ve seen from Icon, and it speaks volumes because they’re the best in the business. Comes with beautiful packaging and a large surface.

This model has a soft fold. It is basically a “soft fall” function with gas-assist, which makes the car a toy after use. The device allows you to lower and unfold the treadmill by gently tilting the platform. The treadmill can then be gently lowered when it is time to use it. Wondering if you should buy one? Let’s take a closer look at its specs to make your selection easier.

Why is PROFORM 8.0 ZT TREADMILL your perfect workout partner?

The key requirement for achieving and maintaining fitness is to set fitness goals for yourself. The ProForm 810 TR treadmill makes it easy to track your progress with these goals with a unique computerized fitness system: generate daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly fitness reports for up to 2 people.

The treadmill has been designed to run thanks to the “ProResponse” suspension comfortably. The zone-specific cushioning system provides firmer support for foot hits and take-off zones and softer support for the rest of the stride. For those who prefer a light workout, this Proform’s 2.25 CHP drive motor is a good choice.

Incline/ Decline Features:

This machine also includes Quick speed and incline features that allow you to instantly and easily change the speed or incline of your workout to increase intensity. Not everyone runs at 12mph, but it’s good to know this treadmill can fully handle it. Thanks to the larger displacement, the Trainer 8.0 trains at a top speed of 12 mph. Our home efficiency booster means you can run every day without excessive electricity. And the handy QuickSpeed® buttons allow you to instantly adjust the intensity so you can focus on every step of your workout.

QuickSpeed Features:

The “QuickSpeed” buttons allow the user to instantly set the speed from 0 to 12 MPH, while One-Touch Power Incline can be set from 0 to 12%. We’re thinking about incline training, which changes the tipping point on a treadmill – you can really prepare your body for challenging and demanding trails. Trainer 8.0 offers automatic motorized tilt adjustment. When you train on an incline, you know that you will give your feet the best possible exercise on the treadmill. There is also a heart rate monitor in it and that dual-grip ECG heart rate monitor allows you to stay within your target heart rate monitor range by looking at the console window while exercising.

This innovative technology allows you to track your progress and get specific training stats for up to 2 users. The iFit Fitness Journal lets you generate daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly fitness reports so you can see results over time.

The “ProResponse” damping absorption system used in this model is zone-specific and provides stronger support for the attack and take-off zones and softer support for the rest of the stride. This excellent suspension system provides the user with the perfect combination of comfort and joint protection. Proform partnered with Jillian Michaels (of The Biggest Loser) to create specialized iFit training boards. In fact, Jillian talks to you during training.

The 18 “x 55” treadmill is pretty basic; it’s just an entry-level treadmill. It offers you plenty of space for comfort when you walk over this machine. There’s also ProResponse damping, which supports and minimizes the impact of your stride for a safer and more comfortable workout.

There are 12 built-in workouts to choose from, and if that’s not enough, you can add some iFIT® workout cards for even more variety. These optional exercise cards allow you to train as if you were talking to a personal trainer. Automatically controls the speed, incline, and duration of the workout based on your personal goals.

Many people today expect to enjoy exercising. This model meets this need by providing a universal iPod docking station. You can enjoy your workout while listening to your favorite music with two high-quality speakers. Just plug it in, hit play, and listen to your favorite sounds while exercising. The sound comes from the console’s built-in speaker system.

This will make your workout much more enjoyable and will also help you train comfortably. These two integrated CoolAire fans keep your workouts comfortable from the moment you step aboard to disembark. Choose between two-speed settings for instant control and direct them towards you because one of the pleasures of exercising indoors is controlling air conditioning.

Even if it’s raining, foggy, hot, hot, or has poor air quality outside, you’ll feel good inside. You can set the fitness time for multiple activities. This adjustable stand folds down to protect your tablet and keep it comfortably close, giving you access to all your training tools and entertainment needs.

Is the PROFORM 8.0 ZT TREADMILL good enough for your cardio?

The biggest reserve of this unit is its economic parts. Proform used cheap parts to make this machine, and some people may turn it off. This is an entry-level treadmill, so don’t expect this machine to be trouble-free for a long time. This machine is unlikely to last very long and only accommodates a small selection of attendees. The ProForm 8.0 ZT has a seven-year engine warranty and deeply disappointing 90-day parts and labor warranty.

With such a short warranty, if you buy it, be very kind and take good care of it. The warranty will expire soon, and you will keep it, and repairs could cost half the price of the treadmill. The belt is only 18 “wide and 55” long. Most treadmills are at least 20 inches wide. Cutting 2 inches on the sides and 5 inches on the back didn’t really affect my run. It’s just a bit cramped. Most people don’t have to worry. For some participants, using the trainer will be uncomfortable.

If you are a serious runner, you should stay away from this machine. This is not for you. It will be better to buy a treadmill with a bigger motor and better quality. ProForm has introduced several new models very similar to the 8.0zt version. We will run this ProForm 8.0 ZT treadmill review compared to other models from the same manufacturer for the same price. First, it’s ProForm 590t. Both models are equipped with the same 2.25 CHP Mach Z engine, which provides 2.25 horsepower.

The only surprising thing is that this engine comes with a seven-year warranty on parts and labor with 8.0t, and when integrated into the 590t, it has a 25-year warranty. This discrepancy is that the ProForm 590t is a next-generation treadmill that comes with a longer warranty on parts and labor than before. Both have a maximum incline of 10%, a maximum speed of 16 km / h, spring technology that guarantees a perfect balance between comfort and joint protection, the popular iFit® Workout Card technology, LCD display, integrated audio system. ProForm 590t features a tougher construction and offers a rougher-feeling construction of 8.0 THS.

PROFORM 8.0 ZT TREADMILL: Wow factors vs. Nah factors

Wow factors:

  • Mach Z commercial engine
  • ProResponse attenuation
  • 20 customizable iFIT workouts
  • 4 Create and save exercises
  • Precise QuickSpeed control
  • Quick tilt control
  • Double ECG heart rate monitor
  • Four remote training programs
  • IFIT Fitness Journal
  • Grafixx display
  • Interaction with universal iPod docking station
  • Integrated premium speakers
  • Spatial design (foldable)
  • EasyDrop Shock
  • Train with Jillian Michaels from “The Biggest Loser”

Nah factors:

  • Very heavy and bulky
  • A demanding assembly can take several hours
  • The belt is on the smaller side, and the warranty is not that great.

Decision: Should you invest in a PROFORM 8.0 ZT treadmill?

Proform 8.0 ZT is a promising base machine and is a best buy. When you think about its low price, it’s amazing how much it can offer. A large number of adjustable functions are particularly useful on this treadmill. You can change the sleep level, angle, speed, and pitch of the cooling fans.

Plus, you can do it all at the touch of a button and without any distraction from exercising. With free shipping up to $ 600, it’s great for low-budget shoppers who still want a solid motorized treadmill. Also, you will put some fun things into it, which will make your workout more enjoyable. If you are looking for a home fitness treadmill that you could use for exceptionally light walking or running, or losing weight, you should consider this Proform 8 0 ZT treadmill right now.
