Step 1: Connect the Safety Key

Before everything else, you first have to put the safety key.

You can find its place at the control console at the center of your treadmill.

From the name itself, safety keys play an important role in keeping your safety while working out.

It is an item inserted into the treadmill with a wire connected to the user. 

In this sense, you can immediately pull the key out to turn off the treadmill INSTANTLY during emergencies.

Step 2: Connect the Power Cord

Your Bowflex treadmill is not battery-powered. It needs a live power outlet source to work.

Thus, you have to plug the power cord into the treadmill and the other end into the nearest outlet.
