The Sole F65 treadmill is one of the brand new models Sole has released for 2011.

It is a step up from the popular F63 with a stronger motor, higher speed limit and a slightly longer deck. It also comes with a larger console window – making it easier to read you workout stats.

Sole treadmills have been used by high end hotels like Hilton for years.  They have recently made their treadmills available to the home treadmill market.

Verdict: Recommended

The Sole F65 treadmill is an upgrade to the very popular F63 treadmill with the same solid construction and strong deck.

It offers you a longer belt, better console and higher speed limit than the F63. You also get a stronger motor and higher user weight capacity – which means it can take more abuse and still keep going.

Runners and more frequent users however may still want to go with the Sole F80 or Sole F85 treadmill which offer Sole’s famous CushionFlex cushioning, extra long 60″ belt, stronger construction quality and extra long warranties

Product Pros And Cons

Sole Fitness F65 treadmill

1) Built with High Quality Components For A Longer Treadmill Life

Sole uses high quality components in their treadmill construction like high torque motors with flywheels to keep the motor cool and extend the life of your treadmill.

The F65 also adds a little more substance to it over the F63 with a stronger motor and higher user weight capacity.

2) Speed and Incline Controls on Arm Rests

With this feature, you can change your speed or incline with the touch of a button on the arm rests instead of reaching up to the console.

This comes in handy, especially when you pick up your pace and don’t want to reach up to the console which can throw off your stride.

3) Extra Spacious 58″ Long Belt

The Sole F65 adds a longer 58″ long belt. While it’s not the longest belt Sole makes, it still gives you more room to move around than many units at this price point.

4) Listen To Your iPod / Mp3 While Working Out

You can plug in your mp3 and listen to your favorite music or audiobook through the built in console speakers. There’s also a headphone jack if you prefer (which many treadmills don’t offer). This is a great feature that can make your workout time a lot more enjoyable.

5) Larger Backlit Console Makes It Easy To Track Your Workout Stats

The console shows your speed, incline, time, distance, calories, pulse and pace. There’s also a 1/4 mile track feature and and a Peak and Valley graph for different programs.

The F65 uses a larger window console than the F63. Plus it’s also backlit. Both of these features make it easier to view your workout stats while you’re exercising.

6) Cooling Fan In Console

There’s a cooling fan in the console which will help keep you cool while you workout. While it’s a little thing – it still helps to add comfort to your workout.
