Livestrong LS13.0T Treadmill Review 2020

Product Review

Livestrong LS13.0T Treadmill

The Livestrong LS13.0T treadmill is one of the more advanced treadmills in the Livestrong lineup. With it’s reinforced frame and extra long 60″ belt it would be a good choice for runners or taller users.

Livestrong is Lance Armstrong’s new fitness brand (manufactured by Johnson – the name behind the high end Matrix and Vision names.)

A portion or the sale proceeds from these treadmills go to Lance Armstrong’s Livestrong Foundation which is very active in the fight against cancer.

The 13.0T was built with the athlete in mind and gives you a few fitness training tools you won’t find on other brands.

Verdict: Recommended

The Livestrong LS13.0T treadmill replaces the older 12.9 treadmill for this year. It’s a similar machine with the upgraded USB port so you can track your results and download new workouts.

With it’s reinforced frame, wireless heart rate monitor and longer 60″ running belt, this treadmill would be especially good for runners or heavier/taller users. If you’re a runner on a budget, this treadmill is definitely worth considering.

Product Pros And Cons

Livestrong LS13.0T Treadmill

1) Strong 3.0 HP Motor With Lifetime Warranty

This is a great motor power for the price point. It gives you more than enough power to run the extra long 60″ belt. (There’s nothing worse than feeling that your treadmill is straining to power your workouts.) Plus it’s covered by a lifetime motor warranty to protect your investment.

2) Well Designed Console

The console on all of the Livestrong treadmills, including the 13.0T are beautifully designed. They’re simple and well laid out – but still manage to appear sophisticated and easy to use.

3) Download New Workouts From the Internet

The Livestrong 13.0 treadmill comes with a free USB device. You just plug it into the console of your treadmill every time you workout. Then you can plug it into your computer and go online to see your workouts over time. You can also download new workouts that are designed by Lance Armstrong’s personal strength and conditionong coach.

4)  iPod / Mp3 Dock

You can plug in your iPod or mp3 and listen to your favorite music or audiobook through the built in console speakers. While this is becoming fairly standard, it’s still a useful feature that can make your workouts more enjoyable.

5) Speed & Incline Controls on the Side Handrails

The 13.0T treadmill has incline and speed controls on the side handrails in addition to the front console.

This can be useful as you can change your incline or speed without reaching up to the console, which can sometimes throw off your stride.

6) Fitness Tracking Journal

This is unique to Livestrong treadmills. This is a built-in fitness tracking journal to help you track your workout progress. You can compare your current workout vs your last workout and see your average workout stats (duration of workout, calories burned). You can also set weekly goals and see your weekly total so far.

7) Free Shipping With Inside Delivery

Many online manufacturers will give you Free Shipping (which is great and saves you about $150+.) However if you want the treadmill actually delivered inside your home, you have to pay extra.

If you buy the Livestrong 13.0 direct from the Manufacturer you can get Free shipping AND inside delivery – which can save you a lot of time, money and frustration.
