Lifespan TR3000i Folding Treadmill

The Lifespan TR3000 Treadmill is a solid mid-priced treadmill in the Lifespan lineup.

Verdict: Recommended

The Lifespan TR3000 treadmill is a solid, stable, well-constructed treadmill with a good design.  It doesn’t shake or wobble, even when you run on it.

It brings in great user reviews and offers a few features that buyers really love like a backlit display and speed/incline controls on the handrails.  While it does fall down a bit in terms of ‘bells and whistles’, if you don’t care about all that and just want a well-made, solid treadmill, it may be right for you.

Product Pros And Cons

Lifespan TR3000i Folding Treadmill

1)  Solid, Stable Feel

The Lifespan TR3000 treadmill feels solid and stable when you run on it. The unit weight is very heavy which also helps contribute to the stable feel. We also like the design of this treadmill – the hood is set far back enough so you don’t feel like you’re running up against it.

2)  Speed and Incline Controls on Side Handrails

You can change your speed or incline with the touch of a button on the side arm rests instead of reaching up to the console.

This comes in handy, especially when you pick up your pace and don’t want to reach up to the console which can throw off your stride.

3) Heart Rate Control

The integrated heart rate receiver and EKG pulse grips let you to monitor your heart rate so you can stay in your target ‘fat-burning’ zone. There are also 2 heart rate control programs that change the level of incline and speed to keep you in your target zone as well.

4) Automatic Safety Pause

The TR3000 has a sensor in the belt. It senses when you’re no longer stepping on the belt and will pause the treadmill after several seconds.

This is a great safety feature to give you some added protection.

5) Step Count

With so many people trying to walk their “5,000 steps a day”, this is a helpful tool. You choose the number of steps you want to walk and the console shows how many you’ve taken.

6)High User Reviews

The Lifespan TR 3000 has received high user reviews from Amazon – with the average rating as of this writing around 4.5 / 5 Stars. Users especially like the solid feel and quiet operation.
